Historically viewed as a stronghold of Catholicism,
modern Spain is one of the most rapidly secularizing nations in Europe.
Understandably skeptical of the church, or the existence of God,
most Spaniards associate the Bible with Roman Catholicism
and a dictatorial regime that imposed religion and morality.
While there is more openness for the church, most people are not open to the church.

TO SEE THE LOCAL CHURCH IN SPAIN
BE KNOWN AND TRUSTED AS AN AUTHENTIC COMMUNITY
WHERE PEOPLE EXPLORE FAITH, FIND HOPE,
AND EMBRACE THE LIFE CHANGING LOVE OF JESUS.
Jesus entrusted the future of the church to a group of people in order to reach the known world, and they did.
That known world has since grown and requires more people to reach it, and we can.
USINSPAIN isn't just about two people moving to Spain, but about a movement to the people of Spain
and what can happen when a larger group of us works together.
Our hope, is people like you will join us, for the future of the church in Spain.

We have spent the past 20 years serving in the local church, equipping leaders, developing worship and volunteer teams, strengthening discipleship structures, and helping churches engage their communities. During that time, we have also served at a summer camp in Spain, leading English immersion programs for youth, and sharing the Gospel through experiential learning.

I am a passionate worship leader and creative strategist
who loves to see teams and individuals lead, and live, authentically on and off the platform. I have experience with worship teams, creative planning with pastors, digital church initiatives, and volunteer leader development. One of my favorite things is mentoring others in a way that draws out their gifts and encourages spiritual growth.

I was born and raised in Spain, and speak English, Spanish, and Catalan. I have over a decade of experience in national church engagement leadership with a global nonprofit, including managing and developing volunteers, coordinating community outreach, and equipping in cross-cultural ministry. One of my favorite things is coaching leaders and teams and see them thrive as they grow in purpose and serve with authenticity.

We have felt a pull to full time ministry in Spain for quite some time, and are confident now is the time to move forward. We are excited for the opportunity to more fully combine our strengths, gifts, and passions, and will begin in the city of Girona (about 100,000 people), working with an existing church, while exploring opportunities to support new and other existing churches.
